He's so good to me. The best part was that he told them to dip half the strawberries in chocolate (mmmm...) and the bananas (the half white, half dark ones) were so delicious. Everyone at work was totally jealous.
Today was not such a good day though. I had an interview with the owner of a company called Fairy Tale Princess Parties. If I got the job, I would dress up as a princess on the weekend for birthday parties and such. I would get to be Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty and Snow White... and anyone who knows me knows that ever since I can remember, I've dreamed of being Cinderella at any place that would let me do it. I was so excited at the interview and the lady really liked me, but then she had me try on the dresses... They didn't fit. My heart dropped. I told her that I know a seamstress and could have my own dresses made, but I kind of doubt she'll go for that. She said she was going to interview more people next week and give me a call an Friday to let me know one way or the other, but I'm not so sure it'll be good news when she calls. This has been my dream for so long, and to have it so incredibly close and yet still just out of my reach is heartbreaking for me. As soon as I got in my car I burst into tears and cried the whole way home. I guess if it doesn't happen the Lord has another plan for me... I just really want THIS to be His plan.
At least I survived Valentine's Day...
