Sharing Time

I feel like sharing today...

Our primary class had sharing time today. It was fun and the kids seemed to enjoy it, but I am SO glad it's over... our theme was "family members have important responsibilities."

This has been a long weekend. Friday night we went over to Nick's parent's house to watch movies. Saturday I worked, then did a photo shoot for a co-worker and her family, then went to dinner and played games with Megan. Today we went to Church, had sharing time, and then I spent most of the day editing the pictures from the shoot. I'm exhausted. I'm already ready for the next weekend.

This is going to be a long week too. I don't get a day off until Saturday, which is good because it means more hours for me, but bad because it means lots of hours when I'm already tired. The one bright spot in my week is the Temple. Friday night Nick's best friend Jason (who he baptised) is going to take out his endowments. I'm so excited for him. Then he's getting married April 17th. Also exciting.

I really really like the song "Stand" by Rascal Flatts. I know it's old, but I still love the message. It's funny how the meanings of songs change depending on where you're at in life. When that song first came out, I had just been dumped by Garrett... and then Eric... and then Taylor... and then Will... all withing a time span of about 3-4 months. Ouch. I would play the song as loud it could go and sing at the top of my lungs, trying to remind myself that things would work out and that "everytime you get up and get back in the race one more small piece of you starts to fall into place." Now the song has taken on a new meaning. Things seem so hard right now. I hate my job, Nick doesn't have a job, I'm not sleeping well at night, and I can't seem to stay on top of my school work because there is just so darn much to do. The song reminds me to get back up when I'm down.

Did I mention I hate my job?

I really want it to be Christmas again so I can go see it snow at Disneyland.

My dog is so adorable. She just got groomed and looks so darn cute!

I REALLY want to go on a huge shopping spree right now. That sounds like such a wonderful stress release. Lol. I should probably find a stress release that doesn't involve eating or spending money. Any ideas.

That is my sharing time.

Kim,

Remember your Heavenly Father knows what your needs are and is very much aware of what is going on. Read you scriptures daily, have your personal and family prayer and most important attend the Temple there all your problems are on the outside and you can be close to your Heavenly Father.
