I'm an Aunt!

Did you know that my sister-in-law Cassie was pregnant?  I'm not sure if I ever posted about that here... I was a bit behind before I started posting about pregnancy stuff...  Anyway, Cassie and her hubby Craig had their baby!  Yay!  That officially makes me an aunt, AND provides Ginger with a cousin that will be 4 months older than her.  I just KNOW that Abby and Ginger will be best friends as they grow up and I'm so excited for them to be so close in age.

Here are a few of Cassie's maternities that I was able to shoot for her a couple of months ago...

And now, some of my beautiful niece Abigail!  She was born on 7-11 (what a cool birthday!  You'll always get a free slurpee!) and was 8 lbs, 5 oz, 21 inches long.  I may have teared up a bit when I got to hold her for the first time.  She is so beautiful and perfect.  Seeing her there after having watched Cassie go through 9 months of pregnancy and chatting about our doctor's visits and all our crazy pregnancy symptoms was so surreal.  It's hard to believe that's what will be happening to me in 3 1/2 months!  Holding her and seeing the love everyone already has for her just made me so much more excited to get to hold my own little princess.

I'm so excited to have been a part of my brother and sister in law's journey into parenthood, and am MOST excited to get to do Abby's newborn pictures this weekend!  I'm sure I'll be posting some of those next week :)
