My brother is on a 2 year mission for our Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is so amazing. He is in a foreign country, speaking a foreign language that he had to learn in 8 weeks, sharing the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ with those seeking the truth.
He comes home VERY soon, so my mom and I have been working hard to get things ready for the homecoming party we are going to throw him. I wanted to make up a little something special she could have as a keepsake, and I have always loved this picture Zack sent home, so I decided to make up a print with a scripture about missionaries. Shutterfly has these cool desktop plaques, so I made this photo with the quote into an 8x10 and am planning on surprising her with it.
I love it. Missionaries really are angels of God - bringing a message of hope and truth and salvation to those who are willing to listen.
