The Airport (photos by the AMAZING Shillawna Ruffner Photography):
The Par-Tay:
This is what was left after everything was said and done.
It was wonderful meeting him at the airport, and even cooler that we were able to take Shillawna along to photograph everything for us so that I didn't have to worry about it. I was so excited that so many family members were able to come out for his Homecoming talk/open house. Sacrament meeting was incredible - it was one of the most spiritual and incredible sacrament meetings I have been to, and I'm not just saying that because Zack was one of the speakers. The open house was incredible. I've never seen so many people at a missionary homecoming! I don't know if it was because of Zack or because people know my mom can throw a great party, or what. I'm just glad that I was able to contribute in some way - I made the missionary sign, the baptism collage, the slideshow (which I will try to put up), and did most of the gallery wall.
I'm very glad Zack is home now. It is incredible how much he has changed. He is so much more mature, so much more in tune with the spirit. When you are around him, you feel like you want to be a better person, and I hope he keeps that as he continues to transition back into "the real world."
Welcome Home Brother!
